What makes Queen's special? Everyone who visits Queen's comments on the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There's a real sense of purpose and a passion for learning, as pupils and staff enjoy one another's company. This is a school where everyone counts. Much of the emphasis in Queen's College is on breadth of experience, with achievement at any level being rewarded. The academic curriculum is wide-ranging, and complemented by an enormously varied co-curricular programme aimed at developing pupils with confidence, creativity and individuality. The curriculum is taught by an outstandingly committed and stable staff. Some have written internationally recognised textbooks on their subjects. . The majority of pupils enter Queens College at either 5, 7, 11, 13 or 16 years of age, although a significant proportion have spent some pre-school time in the College nursery from the age of 3 upwards
