The owners of Meryan House Hotel and Guest house have opened up three of the original inglenook fireplaces and a complete working well over 30 feet deep, which was uncovered in the kitchen. The bedrooms are individually decorated with antique furniture and the luxurious honeymoon room has a Half Tester Bed. All rooms are en suite and have a hospitality tray, radio/baby/alarms, direct dial telephones and "New remote control Digital Flat Screen televisions", with over 60 Channels ,Extra touches include luxury toiletries, sweets and paper handkerchiefs. For the last three years, the Hotel gardens have won the 'Taunton In Bloom' Best Hotel Category. The hotel has two rare breed of dogs called "Dandy Dinmonts", Bubbles will announce your arrival. she is a proper little madam, with here own fan club, and poor old spike has passed away, but his place is taken by "Dazzle" who will be appearing at Crufts in 2008, look out for him as he is a champion.
